ReplyDeleteIt's very disappointing that psychologists and psychiatrists continue to humour and enable religious belief instead of treating it as the mental illness it is. Left unchecked, superstition leads to brain damage, as demonstrated by the MRI scans of believers. Sufferers are then handicapped and prevented from seeking excellence in this life due to delusions about the next. They wouldn't need religious deathbed 'comfort', as they hum the tune to Is That All There Is? in their heads, if they had lived their best lives! As such, l feel like punching people who ask "What's the harm?" in the face...
